The Emerald Secondary College Library subscribes to many periodicals. The library offers teachers a subscription service via email.
By subscribing through the library you will receive an email at each new issue containing a scan of the front cover and contents page/s. You can reply to that email requesting copies of articles which will then be sent to you in the same format, as well as a hard copy into your pigeon hole.
The periodicals available to you are as follows:
Studies of Society & Environment
If there are any periodicals you wish to subscribe to, please see library staff or email.
QR (Quick Response) codes enable you to read messages or link to interesting websites, via your phone. To read the QR codes that you will soon see in the library you need to download a QR reader app.
For those with Smart phones, download a free app from the iTunes app store.
For those with Android phones, download an app from Google play.

The Library is challenging senior students to become involved in the ‘Olympic study challenge’. Like the Olympic Reading challenge, this is a homegroup based competition with the winning homegroup awarded a pizza lunch.
You will find the list of events here:
Senior Olympic study challenge
Students must record tasks completed in their planners, and have teachers verify them.
Add them to your homegroups tally sheet in the library.
